Some things you might like to know ...

Do you only treat males?

Nope! I treat all genders. However, I specialize in the treatment of males, especially those who suffer from eating disorders. I welcome anyone who wants to get work on their mental health. I work with teens ages 14 and up who express a desire to get help, as well as adults of any age.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance. Mine is a fee for service program. That means you pay me up front via a credit card or debit card and I send you a monthly "superbill" receipt to submit to insurance to seek reimbursement. This superbill will contain all the information your insurance company will need to reimburse you directly.

Contact your insurance company to see what your out of network benefits are including:

  • What is your out-of-network deductible and how much remains before benefits kick in?
  • What is your out-of-network out of pocket maximum before insurance pays most if not all of the fees you submit for reimbursement.
  • What do they reimburse for the following CPT codes: 90791 (initial evaluation) and 90837 (individual therapy)?

What is your rate?

I charge $300 for an initial 90 minute evaluation. Individual therapy, family, and couple's sessions are then $200 per 50 minute session.

Is video therapy really helpful?

According to research shared by the Center for Behavioral Intervention Technologies at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, telehealth or videoconference therapy has proven to be just as effective as in-person treatment. In fact retention rates are even higher due to the convenience it provides patients who no longer have to worry about commuting and disrupting their lives to attend sessions.

In addition, many often say lack of access to care, limited schedule options, and a fear of being seen going to a therapist are reasons they don't go. Telehealth removes those barriers. So what are you waiting for?
